The General Manager will be responsible for the management of the branch’s daily operations, budgets and the smooth running of all projects.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide a work environment that brings about positive energy, creativity and team work among employees
  • Set and maintain productivity and quality standards
  • Meet all budgetary targets and KPI’s as set by EXCO
  • Prepare and manage the business’s operating budget
  • Make effective decisions to help the company run smoothly
  • Generate income for the Branch and make sure operations are run cost effectively
  • Reporting on accurately and on time on a monthly basis to the Finance Department
  • Hiring, supervise and evaluate employees and their job performance
  • Maintain high level of administrative accuracy
  • Establish and maintain a healthy relationship with clients
  • Provide service that exceeds expectation
  • Directly oversee inventory of the branch
  • Ensure all projects run smoothly and most efficiently and that deadlines are met
  • Continuous Training and development of staff

Minimum requirements

  • Matric
  • Refrigeration qualification
  • Business Management or Project management qualification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid passport
  • Extensive experience in draught equipment and refrigeration
  • Management experience
  • Customer service experience
